Are you tired of setting your goals only to see them still on your list 3 months later?

Goals are important otherwise you’d be wandering around knocking on any door you found, reaching for the next shiny object or carousing for what you ‘think’ may make you happy.

You can now STOP the wandering madness! Here’s an EASY process that you can use to reach any size goal.

As corporate coach, I work with professional women all the time on how they can advance in their career to reach both personal and monetary fulfillment.  However, oftentimes the goals these women set forth for themselves aren’t achieved because of everyday life distractions.

Women are different than men as they typically put aside their own dreams or goals in order to help someone else’s: whether it’s a husband, boyfriend, son or daughter.  Goals are important otherwise we’d be wandering around reaching for the next shiny object or carousing for what we ‘think’ may make us happy. The key to professional (or personal) success is mapping out a plan and sticking to it.

Here’s the ‘Top 7′ list for business women who want to achieve (and surpass) their goals for 2011:

Identify the Goal. When identifying the goal ask yourself these two questions: What is missing for me? And what do I need or want? Be honest with yourself. These aren’t goals for anyone else but you. Decide what is right for you.
Relate This Goal To a Value. Research shows that when someone is moving towards something (a goal) and it does not resonate with a value then the goal is never attained. Worse yet, if a person doesn’t attach a value to it and the goal is reached, it’s an illusion.
Tell 5 People About Your Goal. Why? Everyone needs a support team for encouragement … and more importantly, to hold you accountable.
Know What Resources Are Needed. What is it that’s needed to make the goal happen? Not what is ‘available’ to make the goal happen. Don’t get stuck in thinking that the only resources you have are the ones you know of.
Commit To a Single Daily Action. What will you do everyday toward your goal? This keeps your goal in focus. Break your goal down into achievable parts.
Decide On Your Reward. This is a step you earn and rightly so. Celebrate ALL successes no matter how small. Each step you successfully master is equally deserving of celebration. Acknowledge and affirm all you progress. Tell your support team. Tell the world.
Know What Is Next. How does your goal fit into your big picture? Was it a supporting cast member for the next goal? How is it building on what is greater? What will it mean to your future? These are essential questions to answer. They cause you to pause and understand at a deeper level the relevance of your goal.

”No matter what size your aspirations, goal setting can be a cycle of redundancy or it can be a process of growth. These steps will make it a process of growth and excitement.  Take your large goals and dissect them into smaller pieces as small goals are simply parts of greater goals. Everything fits together.  For example, my mission is to help every woman achieve their dreams in the coming year and achieve greatness … and I strive to do that one newsletter issue at a time.

Womens Sexuality-Developing Healthy Relationships With Women

Sex was a masculine, carnal desire.  But now, after the third wave of feminism, women have become autonomous in both private and public facets of life.  This spreads to many areas, like their careers and family lives, but also includes their sex lives.  Women have taken charge of their sexuality, changed its definition from the traditional patriarchal bounds, and liberated themselves from societal expectations for their bodies.

Starting with the increased availability and use of female contraceptives, women’s control over their sexual activities has grown exponentially.  From controlling pregnancy to stimulating arousal, the field of female sexuality has been dramatically transformed.

No longer are women the passive playthings from the pre-feminist era; now more than ever, they are aware of their bodies, its functions, and what pleases it.  Women’s sexuality is no longer a dark, evil continent.  Females have learned to explore and no longer feel shameful about sex.

In previous time periods, any woman who actively engaged in an autonomous sex life was considered defiant.  Her autonomy was taboo.  She was shunned in the city for being what was then considered promiscuous.  Even simply having knowledge of their sexual parts was odd for women.

Now, women have access to extensive knowledge about their bodies, sex, contraceptives, and protection.  As the saying goes, knowledge is power; these tools have given women the power to take control of their sexuality.  There is even a large market for female sex toys, where before there was none.  Women have been liberated in many ways, sexuality included.

The ability to make autonomous decisions about pleasure and relationships serves to better level the playing field between the sexes.  The consciousness raising carried out in Third Wave feminism united women by acknowledging the many similar experiences they have, even in the area of sex.

This wave pushed for more autonomy for the woman in all areas.  This new power to decide when to have children, to pursue relationships instead of passively waiting, and to protect one’s self from the dangers of sex allowed women to make informed decisions that freed them from the shackles of patriarchal society.

Car insurance for women can work out a lot cheaper and this can be especially so if you go with a specialist broker and allow them to make comparisons with some of the top UK insurance providers. By doing so it means that you will get a through search made on your behalf and be assured of getting the best deal possible.

While many insurance providers have now turned to offering cheaper insurance for lady drivers because they were claimed to have been better drivers than men, this was still hotly contested. However in October 2001 women drivers did indeed win the right to be called better motorists after the Advertising Standards Agency were called in after complaints regarding the advertising of women’s car insurance on TV. The ASA regulate advertising and investigated claims of women actually being the better driver. Following the investigation it was proved that women were overall better drivers than their male counterparts and the regulating body ruled that the claims were accurate and fair.

From here women’s specialist car insurance firms sprang up even more and went from strength to strength, although it has to be said that the reason women were deemed as being better drivers was based on the fact that women make far fewer claims, drive smaller more sedate cars and are seen as more careful drivers. Men on the other hand were proven in a study to take more risks than women drivers, drive faster and break the law more often.

It is essential when looking for cheap car insurance for women that you do get the cover you need, when it comes to taking out insurance there are three main types, fully comprehensive which is the dearest type of cover, third party fire and theft and third party only which is the cheapest type of cover. If you need information on which type of car insurance would be most suitable for your needs then again the specialist broker’s website will have all the information needed for you to be able to make the right choice. A good specialist broker’s website will offer articles, tips and advice on all aspects of car insurance including safety tips for women drivers along with additional insurance that could be beneficial to women drivers.

However whether women drivers do make the better drivers is still going to be considered for some time and the argument will continue, the fact is that women drivers can get the better deals when it comes to taking out car insurance for women.

Along with getting cheaper premiums for the cover there are many extras which can be used as an enticement to take out the cover, handbag and breakdown cover are two of the most common used. If you want the cheapest deals and premiums on lady drivers then do not look around for yourself but take the advice and experience that a specialist broker can offer and allow them to shop around on your behalf and deliver quotes to you.

Power tools aren’t just for men, that is a thing of the past. Women use power tools all the time now. The use of power tools by women has evolved as the family structure changed over time. Women have become more independent and the chores of the household have become less divided by gender.

While women can operate most any power tool, there are some out there designed specifically for women to use. Don’t worry, they aren’t pink and cute! The Barbara K line features a cordless drill that is very light, yet very powerful. The cordless power screwdriver is the best selling power tool of the line. It is light weight and very easy to use.

The Unbelievable Saw is a hand saw for women that is great for cutting limbs. This saw cuts well and is simple to use. It is also light weight. Women enjoy doing home projects, and finding the right tool can be hard. Black and Decker offers the Project Mate. It is a three in one tool – featuring a scraper, detail sander, and a screwdriver. It doesn’t weight much, fits in the palm of a lady’s hand, and fits in small spaces.

Wrenches can be difficult to maneuver in some areas. Craftsman has the Flex Wrench set in both standard and metric, with seven sizes of wrenches. They are great for getting into tight spaces. They also help give you some added strength to loosen or tighten anything.

A screwdriver is an essential tool for any woman to have. You never know when it will come in handy. Snap-on has the PentaGrip screwdriver that is amazing. It has a button on the top so you can lock the head into position. The handle is designed for smaller hands and has a soft grip.

Pliers to extract nails makes them a piece of cake to remove. It also prevents you from cutting your hands up on any sharp ones. They work great of headless nails too. These pliers are easy to use and easy to grip. The jaws are designed to increase the amount of force on the nail if you encounter some stubborn ones.

The idea of power tools for women is catching on. Five ladies from the University of Kansas are in the process of creating an entire line of power tools for women called Savvy tools. The line is meant to make power tools a more comfortable fit for women in the hopes of promoting safety and making them less intimidating. Bulky power tools are often hard for women to use. The first two power tools are in the works and even have names, Sandra Dee the Sander and Donna the Drill.

Power tools for women that are designed to help them complete projects are anticipated to sell well. Those manufacturers who take this market demand seriously are going to be able to profit from such products. The key is going to be conducting research and finding out what types of power tools women use and asking what they like and don’t like about them. Women don’t want just a smaller version of the power tools out there or the color changed to something pretty. They want power tools that are easy to use and get the job done.

The scheme envisages development of micro and tiny women enterprises in the country both in the urban and rural areas. The main objective of the scheme is to empower women through development of their entrepreneurial skills by eliminating constraints faced by them in their sphere of trade. A revised scheme of TREAD was launched in May, 2004. It is to be implemented by Small Industries Development Organization. It also provides for market development and financial loans through NGOs, which are also provided grants for capacity building. This assistance is to be provided for self-employment ventures by women for pursuing any kind of non-farm activity.

CONCLUSION

The role of Women entrepreneur in economic development is inevitable. Now-a-days women enter not only in selected professions but also in professions like trade, industry and engineering. Women are also willing to take up business and contribute to the Nation’s growth. This role is also being recognized and steps are being taken to promote women entrepreneurship. Henceforth, promoting entrepreneurship among women is certainly a short-cut to rapid economic growth and development.  Let us try to eliminate all forms of gender discrimination and thus allow ‘women’ to be an entrepreneur at par with men.
