THE INVOLVEMENT OF WOMEN IN POLITICS: GOOD OR BAD?
There is a common maxim in the society today that’ whatever a man can do, a woman can also do it or much better’, which implies that women should be given equal opportunity to show case their talent (s) in all facets of human endeavour.
One issue that has over the years being a subject of controversy is whether women should involve in politics. Today, women are not only complaining of under-representation in politics particularly in government. Few women are presidents of countries and senators, assembly members, councilors among other political posts today.
Primarily, there is no doubt that over the years, men have been dominating the political landscape of most countries in the world. What then can be regarded as the dividends of men’s adventurism in governance?. Today, most countries in the world are plaque by myriads of problems arising from bad governance of those in corridor of power who are mostly men. Most of the leaders are very greedy and corrupt to the extent that their countries resources have been impoverished. Having failed to provide good governance in this regard for several years, there is nothing wrong if women who are noted to be caring, fearful, humane among other traits are given more chances in government for possible change in the ‘status quo’.
When viewed from another perspective, women are noted for domesticated assignments, being weak elements who should not be subjected to too much stress. It is believed that Politics is a very serious business involving campaigns, frequent meetings and movement from one place to another, which are indeed too strenuous for women. Men in politics are noted for keeping late nights due to their tight schedule. If women are allowed to follow suit, this can make them abandon their roles at the home setting, the consequence of which can be very grave including broken home, marital conflict, adultery of their husbands, indulgence of children in social vices like armed robbery, prostitution, stealing among others due to inadequate motherly care.

Watching a fully stocked bird table in winter is an uplifting experience. There are the super powers (wood pigeons and crows) facing up to each other while sparrows dart through to grab the goodies. Bluetits hover in perfect symmetry. The ground feeders, blackbirds and robins tend to share their food. All ignore the squirrels who are like Somali pirates in their audacious raids.
There are a pair of kestrels who screech a warning. All is still as the creatures flee in panic.
All life's dramas unfold at the bird table.

This question is actually intriguing to me because I was never really attracted too much to bad boys. Women want good guys-they are smart, honest, funny, don't do anything really bad.
Women are naturally maternal, it's in our genes and our beings. I for one always go into a relationship looking to fix things and help men. I have been with one man who was a bad boy, I turned him good. He smoked, wore really baggy clothes, swore all the time, listened to rap music, and other things. I got him to dress nicer, quit swearing, I got him to listen to better music, and changed other stuff.
The relationship I am in right now is awesome because he is a great man, and I don't need to change anything about him-I wouldn't want to either.
Women may be attracted to bad boys but we want the good guys. Women get an adrenaline rush from being with a so called bad boy because it's against everything they know. I for one would never turn a good guy bad.

Definitely a change for the bad. Men and women are built differently for different purposes.
Men were given denser, more powerful bodies. These bodies demonstrate the headship of the man, and along with it the responsibility to use it to take care of their families. Strength to be used to defend family, not attack family. Strength to work hard and gain wages. The father has the reproductive seed by which he also has intense physical desire and therefore needs to tame his desire with a logical mind. A man's mind is designed for logical decision-making divorced from emotion. Unfortunately, because the man's mind is divided so as to be logical, it is also divided so as to be emotional. Men are therefore typically one or the other. It is thus the responsibility of the man to control his emotions and think logically when needed, and yet being fully expressive in love when needed.
Women were given minds designed for endurance and the demonstration of love in all things, making them the perfect caregivers. A woman makes her decisions not out of cold logic, but tempered and colored by her feelings so that she does not make decisions that forget the loved one's feelings. The woman's body, on the other hand, is fragile compared to mans, and needs lots of nurturing to stay healthy, but has the great gift of the ability to bear children. This is the portal through which God blesses the family. Because she is the one giving birth and her breasts feed the child, this makes her primarily responsible for looking after the health and welfare of the child. This also serves the interests of the husband as men are not the best at taking care of their personal needs.
When the man does not respect the woman's feelings, no matter what it is on, this can cause turmoil in the relationship. So too if the woman does not respect the man's need to make the final decisions. This is why the woman often looks like the control in the relationship and why some women go too far in trying to usurp that control. So man should be desiring to do things pleasing to his wife, and the wife should seek to act in a way that makes the man want to do what the wife is respectfully asking. If the wife gets demanding, the man may feel the need to use his authority by strength to overpower her. Though abusive men are detestable and are such because they are weak and lack self-control.
Just because the man has the authority does not mean the man and woman are not equal partners in the family. They must complement each other through deeds and love.
Sarah Palin is an idiot, an attractive idiot, but still an idiot. You may want to give a little more credence to the ‘feminists’, as they are the number one reason why you are considered a human being and are able to vote.
I dont know about the other questions, but I do have a good recipe
MAGIC TUNA FISH SALAD SANDWICHES
2 cans of tuna fish packed in water
1 bunch of green onions
3 jalapeno peppers
1 cup of bean sprouts
1 cup of fresh white mushrooms
1 medium tomato
several leaves of romaine lettuce
1 cucumber
3 tablespoons of mayonnaise (or if you're concerned about fat/calories use fat-free mayo)
parmesan or romano cheese (you can also top with sliced cheddar, monterey jack, pepper jack or muenster)
2- 4 slices of whole wheat bread
Chop the following ingredients into small pieces; green onions, mushrooms, set aside.
Slice jalapenos down the middle from top to bottom, discard seeds, chop into small pieces and set aside.
Slice tomatoes and peel and slice cucumbers, keep these ingredients seperate from the other veggies.
In a large bowl mix 2 cans of drained tuna, 3 tablespoons of mayonnaise thoroughly, add jalapenos, bean sprouts, green onions and mushrooms, stir ingredients until everything is mixed into tuna and mayonnaise.
Spoon this mixture onto a slice of whole wheat bread covering bread evenly, top with cheese, tomato slices, lettuce and cucumber slices and finish with a slice of wheat bread on top. Cut diagonally serve with a slice of pickle and enjoy!
